The old Cinema Movie Rentals building, owned by Dennis Voy, has been rented.
The new "Beauty Shop" will be opening soon, maybe even by the end of July Dennis stated in his Daily Report. on KMAQ's Website.
We will update you with more info soon and we welcome another NEW business in Maquoketa, especially in our Downtown area where we need to fill our buildings.
Update:
The names I got so far are a Janie Fitzpatrick and a Jill Clark seem to be the ones who will be involved in the new Beauty Shop.

I was lucky enough to be part of Jill's journey at Capri Cosmetology. Jill was so nervous for my first haircut, but I watched her grow into a confident and a very good cosmetologist by my last haircut. I loved listening to her instructors compliment her skill level from very early on. We should be proud to have her and her skills coming to Maquoketa!!!! Can't wait for my first appointment.
