VFW: Tow Watters named Jr. Vice-Commander



A RURAL MAQUOKETA MAN WAS NAMED TO A STATE OFFICE AT THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE IOWA VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS STATE CONVENTION HELD RECENTLY IN BURLINGTON.



TOM WATTERS OF RURAL MAQUOKETA (FULTON) WAS ELECTED AS THE STATE OF IOWA JUNIOR VICE-COMMANDER.





WATTERS NEXT YEAR WILL BE ELECTED SENIOR VICE-COMMANDER AND THE FOLLOWING YEAR WILL BE ELECTED THE STATE OF IOWA VFW COMMANDER. MAQUOKETA HAS NEVER BEFORE HAD A STATE COMMANDER.

TOM HAS BEEN A LONGTIME EMPLOYEE OF THE FAMILY
DOLLAR DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN MAQUOKETA AND ALSO DOES "AUCTIONEERING" ON THE SIDE.



THE MAQUOKETA VFW POST 3633 MEETS THE 3RD WEDNESDAY.
