Company to inventory city's trees

A conservation company has been hired to take an extensive inventory of trees in Maquoketa.

N.E. Iowa Resource Conservation and Development will be paid $5,650 by the city of Maquoketa to conduct this tree inventory and expected to be complete by October.

In addition to determining the total number of trees on city property, the inventory will include information on the numerous tree types and condition.
